Some years ago, I wrote a little book:
'How to have a Dog'
There is a book I have been writing for many years about a girl whose life changes when aged nine her father is murdered. Her mother takes up with her ex-boyfriend and they change the stud farm into a drug farm. The story goes on from there. I had it assessed and on the basis of the assessment I put it in a drawer (metaphorically) and started with a new story.

The new story, about the near future (2046) when the world is controlled by large autocratic corporations and woe betide anyone who puts their head above the parapet so to speak. This was going to be a trilogy and I have written 2/3 of Volume 1. I am having great fun with this dystopian future. A work in progress. As a writer I am at a disadvantage in that I have not had a miserable childhood or survived trauma. I have to make it up.
